Editorial Standards

How we research, review, and publish product information.

Our Process

1
Research
We review peer-reviewed literature, FDA guidance documents, and manufacturer specifications to gather accurate compound data.
2
Write
Product descriptions, compound specifications, and handling notes are drafted by our editorial team using verified sources.
3
Review
Every page undergoes a multi-stage review for scientific accuracy, regulatory compliance, and clarity before publication.
4
Update
Published content enters a continuous update cycle. New research, regulatory changes, and batch data trigger revisions.

Content Principles

  • Accuracy over persuasion — We prioritize factual, evidence-based information. Marketing language never overrides scientific accuracy.
  • Research citations — Claims about compound efficacy or mechanisms of action reference published research whenever available.
  • No health claims for RUO products — Research-use-only products are described strictly in terms of their chemical properties and research applications.
  • RUO labeling — Every product page clearly identifies its research-use-only (RUO) status, with appropriate context for each category.

Sources We Use

  • Peer-reviewed journals — PubMed-indexed publications and preclinical research data
  • Regulatory guidance — FDA databases and regulatory notices relevant to research compounds
  • USP standards — United States Pharmacopeia reference standards for identity, purity, and potency
  • Manufacturer specifications — Certificate of Analysis data, stability studies, and formulation documentation from our verified suppliers

Review Cycle

  • Quarterly content audits — Every product page is reviewed at least once per quarter for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory alignment.
  • Monthly COA updates — Certificates of Analysis are refreshed with each new production batch, typically on a monthly cadence.
  • Real-time regulatory tracking — Our team monitors FDA announcements, DEA scheduling changes, and state-level regulatory updates that may affect product availability or labeling.
